The last several months have reminded me that a plan is not only useful when everything goes as hoped. It's crucial in helping you return to center when life knocks you off track. Earlier this year illness disrupted all of the healthy rhythms I had established. As I worked to get well and regain momentum, while also adjusting to a team member going out unexpectedly with a severe health issue, I reaped the benefit of building in buffers and staggering projects deadlines.
