Hi CEO!


We made it through another work week — woot woot! What was the highlight of your week? What made you smile, laugh, or do a little shoulder shimmy? Take a second to celebrate and relive the joy from that moment.

 

My highlights were attending an economic development conference in Washington, DC, and giving the final project presentation for a yearlong community development initiative we've led in partnership with our clients and a community in South Dallas. Two events that filled my cup and got me excited to continue doing work I love.

 

As I thought back on this week — traveling to DC, submitting the final community development plan, and preparing for a keynote — I was reminded of the power of planning in business. 

 

Setting hard deadlines for drafts, edits, and final submissions allowed me to enjoy the conference, be present to learn new tools and insights, and make meaningful connections. It also allowed me to show up as my best for my clients, the community, donors, and stakeholders when I presented a year's worth of work.
