Earlier this year God gave me the idea for Pray Plan Profit. It started as a challenge for Christian Entrepreneurs and CEOs to use to jumpstart their year. A couple of hours before the challenge started in February, as I was going over that night's material, God met me and said, "You should create worksheets for this. They need to be able to work through the concepts with a physical guide that makes the information more tangible." I said, "Okay, God. I love that idea! But, You want me to do that now? Before we start tonight?!?" Lol.
Y'all, I have learned God does NOT work on my schedule. When I prayed and asked Him to help me to prepare for the night and week, that direction was His answer. So, I moved over to Canva and started putting together a few quick worksheets to help attendees work through the concepts in real time.
They were a hit! I was surprised by what I was able to create in such a short period of time (this is a reminder to hone skills before you need them and to make sure you can do everything in your business in case God moves when your designer or team member is off the clock), and so thankful that they were helpful. I knew at the end of the challenge I wanted to update them and invest a bit more time to increase the quality and usefulness for future CEOs.
As we set the plan for Q2, God agreed and instructed me to build out the planner as a standalone product and a support component to the training. As God and I worked on the pages of the planner I was so inspired by how my ideas flowed, how the pages came together, the way things clicked for me in new ways, and the joy of seeing the desires of my heart coming to fruition in my hands. Printing out the first draft felt surreal. It was a tangible outcome of my obedience to God's leading, in the moment, through inconvenience, and without limiting expectations.
I made creating digital and physical products a goal in January, and asked God to lead me in determining what to prioritize finishing or creating first. I surrendered my desires to His, and committed to being radically obedient to however He would lead me to move forward. It has been a beautiful journey and I can't wait to see it all come to fruition with the release of the Pray Plan Profit planner and training course this year!
Radical Obedience opens you up to all the wonderful things God has in store. It takes away expectation and frees you to readily welcome what God places in your heart and mind. It allows you to see things differently and to find the blessing no matter the outcome. This planner is proof that following God’s lead always leads to things beyond what we could “ask or think”.
