Mindset, Community, and The Pray Plan Profit CEO Planner

ree

I hope you had a wonderful week that moved you closer to your goals. This week was a tough one for me, but I was reminded of the impact mindset and community can have on our journeys in leadership. So happy to say the latter end of it was definitely greater!

The week started a little rocky with not feeling well (blame it on the seasons changing) and some challenges with business. I shared how I felt with Mario and a few close friends. We prayed, and I was encouraged by them, and through scripture, to continue to trust God, do my part, and to remain obedient to what God has called me to do.

As I prayed, God led me back to the first pillar of the planner - PRAY. On some of the first pages in that section I created prompts that address defeat, failure, limitations, disappointment, distractions, and deterrents to our purpose. (Whew!) This week I walked myself back through them.

Then I went to the last pillar - PROFIT. Pages in that section take you back through those questions and examine how your mindset has shifted as you've surrendered, planned, and worked to execute the vision God has given you.

And wouldn't you know in it, in our couples Bible study on Wednesday we covered the same topics again--and had to co-facilitate the discussion?!?! 🫠 Then I went back and read my Women's Bible Study from the weekend that I missed because I didn't feel well and the title was "How You Respond to Hardship Matters." I clearly got the message. lol When I say God is making this planner come to life--He is in all the ways!

If you are like me, and have experienced these feelings in the everyday part of living and building your dream, I hope this encourages you. Please remember this: God has not forgotten you. "Failure" and difficulty are not final (or a reflection of your worth, effort, or favor). You have the power to change your thoughts through the help of the Holy Spirit. You have all that you need (capacity, resources, support) to take your next step.

This is why I'm so glad the Pray Plan Profit CEO Planner is coming your way in November! It truly is built for the realities of running your business God's way. It helps you deal with the challenges of starting, sustaining, and scaling a business, by providing scriptural and strategic resources that encourage your spirit, ground your decision-making, and fuel your success.

In the meantime, I hope you take a little time this weekend to reflect on the week, celebrate one way you practiced taking thoughts captive (2 Corinthians 10:5), and commit to "the renewing of your mind" (Romans 12:2) no matter what tries you this upcoming week!

If you need anything before my next message, remember I'm always one email away.

With Joy In Purpose,

Dr. Lorin R. Carter

P.S. We'll be updating the overview page and giving updates on P3 swag soon! I'm sharing now because done is better than perfect (although it is pretty darn good!), and sharing updates on the printing process in the coming weeks. We are finalizing the layout so we can file all the legal registrations. So close to getting this in your hands in November. We're almost there! Please keep praying with me for all God will do for our community through this resource.
