A recent sermon at our church covered Joshua 4 and the importance of remembering what God has done in your life. (Seeing past/current miracles as monuments of God’s goodness).
The entire chapter is instructions on what to do to REMEMBER.
Now while God has not parted the Jordan River for us literally, I know you can think of a time where God did something miraculous in your life. He allowed your name to be spoken in a room you didn’t know existed, healed you from sickness, reconciled a broken relationship, renewed your hope, brought a loved one to Christ, allowed a kind word to be said when you needed it most, protected you from harm, ill will, and schemes formed to defeat and discourage you, strengthened your faith, allowed you to forgive, transformed you into a CEO that reflects His image.
Whether God has called you to continue building or to create something new, let His track record and who He is, be the rock you build on this year. 🪨 ✨
This is your prompt to REMEMBER. This is your Joshua Chapter 4. Take your feelings of gratefulness, astonishment, love, and joy for how God has walked with you into this new week, chapter, year!
Remember what God has done, and move forward in faith that He will come through for you again. Have faith that God can, because He already did!
